Objectives
- Understand how the Internet can enhance your courses
- Able to post text and links using the KPR Homework Center
- Create a MS Word Document with Links and Images and post
it to a web site
- Create and Convert a MS PowerPoint Presentation to a web
page and post it to the Internet
- Convert Markbook 2003 marks to a web page and post the
marks to the Internet

Session 1
- Introduction to Adam Scott Web Page and what teachers are
doing to enhance their course with Web presence
- Using the KPR homework center. Make sure you get your login
and password.
- How the Internet Works
- Web pages are HTML documents
- Word processor can save documents files as HTML documents
- Use FTP (File Transfer Protocol) to transfer files
- How to get images from the net
- BREAK
Session 2
- Presentation of HANDS on ACTIVITY
- HANDS on ACTIVITY
- Find an article and email it to yourself using EBSCO
host
- Find an image and save the image
- Post text and links to the KPR Homework Center
- Create an Word document with images and links and save
as a web page
- FTP the word document and images to an Internet Site

- Creating a simple PowerPoint Presentation
- Converting the presentation to a web page
- FTPing the presentation to the Internet
- Markbook
- Converting a Markbook report to a web page
- FTPing the marks to the Internet

- Convert Markbook Report to a web page
