Power Point Activity

This activity will require you to create a PowerPoint Presentation on a country.

Choose any country except for Canada, Australia or the United States.

The presentation guidelines:

• At least 3 Slides
• Slide 1 has map of the country and the Title “Map”. The location of the country is displayed along with its total area.
• Slide 2 has a picture of the flag of the country and has the title” People”. It gives the following stats:
• Population
• Population Growth Rate
• Life Expectancy for the Total Population
• Slide 3 has no picture. It has a title “Economics”. The following stats are given:
• GDP
• GDP - per capita
• Each Slide Transition Must be different (from menu choose SLIDE SHOW / SLIDE TRANSITION after you click on the slide.

1. Login into the computer as “student” with no password
2. Run Powerpoint out of the MicroSoft Office Tools Folder
3. Once in Powerpoint choose File/New and choose a background template
4. Go to http://www.cia.gov/cia/publications/factbook/index.html or goto adamscott.ca and click on link at bottom for WORLD FACT BOOK. To save an image place the cursor over the image and hit the RIGHT mouse button and save the image into the student directory.
5. Save your presentation as your LAST NAME
