Student Thoughts for Peter's Woods

Here are some thoughts that we had on this particular project.

Karl

“As a perfect example of the temperate deciduous forest native to this area, Peter’s Woods was an ideal setting for our forest study. We can only hope that more of the few remaining forests are preserved in this manner, under nature’s control and open to all who enjoy the outdoors and want to learn more.”

Lauren

"AHHHHHHHHHH I saw bigfoot!!!"

Matt

“Well, I was thoroughly eaten by mosquitoes, and my face still stings from the bites. On the whole however, Peter's Woods was an educational experience that I will never forget. I almost forgot to mention the Peter's Woods own bigfoot...”

Greg

"Hey, I was going to talk about the bigfoot. I called shotgun. Oh well, I must say that Peter's Woods left a lasting impression on me, or maybe it was the odour of Musk Oil that we all had to wear in order to not be a human buffet for the skeeters."

Greg Matthews and Matt Williams hugging an Eastern White Pine. They love
trees, particularly those in temperate deciduous forests.

Matt- "I love you trees!"

Greg- "We won't let you be cut down!"
