The Cobourg West History Department stages several events a year. Most are open to the public, a few are limited by space to guests that contact the History Department before the event. We also welcome the assistance of re-enactors and living historians in bringing the past to life. For 1812, CDCI West students re-enact the I.M.U.C. (Incorporated Militia of Upper Canada), Northumberland Militia, the Kentucky 1st Rifle Regiment, and the 6th U.S. Regulars. For the American Civil War, we re-enact the 69th New York Regiment and the 33rd Virginian Regiment.
The Kentucky Rifle Regiment is the parent re-enacting group for the CDCI West Re-enacting Group.
