Eunice Muthoni Waweru, one of our foster child, is attending school. Her favourite lessons are Geography and English. Her life compared to ours is not easy.
We take too much for granted with what we have. It takes Eunice about 45 minutes to walk to school. She does not have the luxury of a school bus to pick her up in the morning and drop her off at school which we take for granted.
Her mothers, Mrs. Ruth Wanjirus, health is not the best right now. She has cancer and is getting treatment at a hospital.
The family has access only to the basic services. Drinking water comes from rain catchments during the rainy seasons and from rivers or springs during the dry season. The water is unsafe to drink due to lack of appropriate treatment. Through our financial support, Eunice is able to attend school.
