Podcasting :

Podcasting is the recording of voice and music to create audio files on the computer. At the West, the most common PC program is called Audacity, a freeware program available below (all links courtesy of connectingeducation.com)

Media Players:

Video files come in many specialized formats such as flash, mp4, wav and avi. A good muti-format video player can be downloaded here.

Photostory:

Photostory is a free program that allows students to use images, sounds, text and musicand create presentations that mimic i-movie for Macs on PCs. Mp3 files created in Audacity can be easily imported into Photostory.
