It's been a long time since I graduated from Clarke (class of 2000.) Everything is going awesome here. Just finishing up my last year studying manufacturing engineering. Almost ready to find a real job. It was pretty neat seeing some messages posted from people I went to school with. Best of luck to everyone

Hello, Clarke! It will be five years this June since I graduated, and I have such nostalgic pangs to return My time at Clarke was fantastic, and anyone who has the fortune to attend will be successful in whatever endeavour they undertake in life, thanks to the great faculty and fun environment. Well, I'm off, to pay bills and cook my own meals like the rest of the adult saps. I hope everything's well, and have fun, spring is here! (are BBC's still served in the caf? LOL) Best regards, Ben Koslik OAC Class of 2001.

I have such fond memories of my 4 years at
Clarke High School and think about it often. I graduated in 1987 and have lost touch with most of the people I went to school with. I lived in Toronto until 3 years ago and then moved to New Jersey with my husbands job. He has just been transferred to Atlanta, Georgia
and will be moving there in the next 4 weeks. I hope Clarke is as fun as when I was there and would love to hear from anyone from my year.

Wow, It's been a while since I looked up the CHS web site, it's looking great! And the French teacher I had was right, ( I Should have paid more attention in class)I didn't think I would end up living in Quebec with my husband. Since leaving CHS in 2001 I ended up working for the Federal Goverment Public Sector. Well I wish everyone the best of luck for 2006!)

Well I figured it was worth sticking my head up out of the sand, so see if any passers by happen to recognize my name, or what have you. I loved
Clarke High School. Some of the best times ever in my whole life. I had the best friends, the coolest teachers, and more fun than any one guy deserves. MAYBE I wouldn't have said that then, but I certainly do now, now that I'm in my adult, reflective form. Stay cool, Clarke. Anyone who wishes to drop me a line, feel free. More than welcome

This is a fantastic idea! I even see the names of some people I went to school with. I cannot believe that it has been almost 20 years since I graduated from high school! So sad to read about Mr. Essex. Even though I only knew him for such a short time, he seemed to have such an impact on my life. I thought there was a reunion committee when I graduated and I am sure that I put my name on the list. Does anyone know if there was already a reunion of the class of 1986 or 1985?

Happy New Years to One & All! 2004 was a milestone year for most of my fellow classmates & to celebrate a 1953/54 Birthday Bash was held at the
Newcastle Town Hall
with many of those reaching the half century mark in attendance. Our former teachers who we have come to embrace as mentors & friends also honoured us with their presence. Pictures of the Bash & also photos from those memorable days that I spent at Clarke High circa 1970 can be viewed at: www2.kpr.edu.on.ca/clarke and then click on Clarke School Council. I hope you enjoy these cherished moments in time of Clarke High. I also received from Phyllis Chartran, the nice lady who kept us fed, her 1963 -1972 yearbooks!

Hi everyone! I did not realize that Clarke even had a guest book. I have seen a lot of people I know on Classmates, and Gradfinder (Classmates you have to pay though.)I went to Clarke from 1976-1979. My class graduated in 80. I remember quite a few people though, Dave Sunstrum and sister Lorraine, Marty Goeshel, Sam Canty, John Malda, Colette Pickering, Mari-Lou Powell, and many more. If anyone remembers me please drop me a line. I would love to catch up. p.s. If anyone knows of Miss McCracken's whereabouts please send along a Thank You to her for being a cool teacher. I really slacked in her, ok all of my classes, but she gave me a lot of good advice that I did take. p.p.s. I was very sorry to hear about Mr. Essex. He was a strict teacher in my day, but I grew to understand why, he cared. I caught up with him about a year ago and we e-mailed each other a few times. It was nice to chat with him. My condolences to his Family and Friends.

Doreen, you have been such a special part of Clarke for the past thousand years. You have shown such care and had the kid's best interests and futures at heart in everything you have done. I know there have been frustrating times, but you also need to know that Clarke has grown from strength to strength because of teachers such as yourself. Take care of yourself and those you love and have a happy and healthy retirement. love Kaye
McOustra.

Graduated from Clarke in 1979.
Presently moving to the
Lake District in the UK to work for British Nuclear Fuels PLC until 2005, but visit family in Orono regularly.
Who could want to miss the Durham Central Fair. All my old teachers are probably retired.

It's almost 25 years since I graduated from Clarke. I'm curious if there is any interest in a 25th reunion with former classmates of the class of '77. Please email me.

Seoul isn't really my hometown but I live here now. I finished Clarke in 1996 and had a great time there. When my brother Bob and I got there we were known as the hockey guys from Newfoundland
. To all of you still at Clarke have a great time and give Minnis a hard time for me; he misses it!!!
